Update...kind of long, sorry!

It's weird to think how quick Christmas can come and go. It seems like there is such a huge fuss over it, and then it is over within hours. But, of course I still love Christmas and everything about it.

This year I was at home with my parents and Karen, Greg, and Kaleb came up. It was really weird not having more of the siblings home, but I was able to sleep in my own bed, so it worked out alright. I did miss the rest of you though, and I'm glad you all had a Merry Christmas at your own homes this year. Meanwhile, we had a good time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We had a great time doing some last minute shopping, playing games, and of course, some great meals! I think every night that Karen and Greg were here we played games. The favorites ended up being Yahtzee and Farkle. Good times. And of course it was so fun playing with Kaleb all week. He is such a little stud and is always fun to be around. I have a lot of really cute pictures of him, but I'm currently on my sister's computer and do not have my pictures available at the moment. I will try to put a few on soon!

As I mentioned earlier, I am at my sister's house. My parents and I are staying here tonight and flying out to Colorado tomorrow morning. We are very excited to get to see Kevin and his beautiful family and spend a few days with them. I was lucky enough to see them just in October when I went out with some friends from school. But usually, I only get to see them once or twice a year. It's not very fun because I would really like to see them more. Well, I really just wish they lived closer so we could all see them more. But unfortunately, that's not an option right now. I spent the summer of 2007 living with them, and I am so glad that I had that chance. It was a great time for me to get away from Utah and try something new. Along with something new it was just a great time to spend time with Kevin, Jill, and the kids and get to know them better. I am very grateful and appreciate them for their kindness and hospitality and letting me take over their basement. :) Thanks Kevin and Jill!!

School starts January 7, and I'll be honest, I am ready to go back! It has been a nice break, but it has been kind of long. I haven't been working, so I've just been bumming around and playing with friends and family. Which, is great, but sometimes I just want to be doing something more... yes, even going to class and working. Weird huh? :) This is my last semester in Rexburg, so I'm kind of having mixed emotions about it. It's weird to think that this is my fourth and final year there. It actually makes me sad. Basically because now I am used to Rexburg, and I am comfortable up there. But, come April, I will have to start over. I have to find a job and grow up. Uh-oh! I am actually excited for a new chapter in my life, but I am the type of person that likes to have some sort of plan... and well, right now, I don't really have one. Haha... so we'll see how it all turns out! My plan for this semester is to enjoy every day of it, just because it is my last and I know I won't be able to do it again!

My heart and prayers are with the Jorgensen and Johnson families at this time. Erik and Jesse were great guys, and they will be missed dearly. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and that you will have a Happy New Year to go along with it!!

Yeah, they were both a year older, so i didn't know them that great. Erik played baseball with kyle and we had a class together. jesse was in the singles ward and actually went to dinner with us just a week before the accident. crazy how fast life can change. :(

hey Kami,
Sounds like you've had a pretty good holiday. Its really sad about jesse and erik. It does make you live up each moment you have with people. Alex grew up with them but I didn't know them very well. But my heart still herts about it. It seems like just barely that we saw you at manderin. anyway what are you up to for new years? love ya.
